LISTEN TO NIKHIL’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SCORE

As a project lead for Season 2 of The Wheel Of Time, Nikhil wrote additional music and arrangements on 45 cues across all 8 episodes for this Amazon flagship fantasy series. In addition, he helped lead a team of composers, interfaced with the executive producers and writers throughout the course of Season 2 post production, and helped put together the soundtrack albums

HOW NIKHIL GOT HIRED

In 2019, Nikhil heard that Amazon Studios was developing The Wheel Of Time series. Nikhil read all 15 books, studied the maps and characters, and then wrote a theme he commissioned the Budapest Scoring Orchestra to record.

As word of mouth spread and fans eagerly shared the theme, it led to Nikhil being featured on an article on Tor.com, the publisher of The Wheel Of Time series, as well as praise from it’s completing author Brandon Sanderson.

Soon, production took notice of the theme, as well as the composer Lorne Balfe, who hired Nikhil to write / arrange music across his TV series projects, including The Wheel Of Time Season 2
